At Icon Villas, we enjoy exploring the world with people we love most, making precious memories. And we love hosting families in our gorgeous villas. Our wish is to facilitate the unique bond that builds when an extended family or a group of friends cocoon. An Icon Villa is a serene, private space to rejuvenate and reconnect. No fixed itinerary. No interruptions.

Below are just a few of our favourite family friendly villas. Alternatively check out our full list of CHILD FRIENDLY OPTIONS.

The 3-bedroom BAREFOOT BLOUBERG is in the historic village of Bloubergstrand with sweeping views over Table Bay towards Table Mountain and Robben island - the perfect base for the watersport enthusiast, a family vacation or fun filled holiday for friends. You’ll feel like you’re on an island despite being minutes away from shops and restaurants. Blouberg beach is just a short walk over the road.

Further south in Cape Town, named after a century-old stairway that links the house to the coast-hugging Main Road, JACOB'S LADDER does feel like a top rung on the way to heaven. With 4 bedrooms, two lounges and several dining options spread across three levels, and a pool that feels almost cantilevered off the mountain, Jacob’s Ladder is designed for easy living, in one of the most sought after suburbs on the Cape’s pretty south Peninsula coast.

Moving East towards the Garden Route, the sprawling 5-bedroom Hermanus villa PRETTY BELINDA is furnished like a five-star hotel but designed for family living. Located in a secure golf estate, within the whale watching capital of South Africa and surrounded by some of the best wine terroirs in Africa. A mere two hour drive from Cape Town, this is both an alternative or an add-on to a city sojourn.

To travel is to explore not only this world but also...
