Garden Villa is nestled in the heart of the Stellenbosch Winelands. Set amongst lush gardens, towering oak trees and rolling vineyards, the historic Herbert Baker style Manor House invites you to reminisce and be reminded of life’s simple pleasures…where time stands still and life is celebrated surrounded by space, art, and the grandeur of a long forgotten era.

Manor house is surrounded by 500 rose bushes, lavender fields and the tranquillity of rolling lawns extending to
the dam with an eco-pool…feel what it’s like to swim in nature again. Enjoy a chilled glass of wine on the pizza deck, while your kids explore their newfound freedom. There’s a secret hideaway with tree walks, a zipline across the dam for the more adventurous, an oversized wigwam/Teepee tent to fuel their imagination.

Elegance, tranquility and a peaceful laid back atmosphere culminate to make this Villa the ultimate venue for an intimate stay or exclusive celebration.
Beautifully maintained gardens under majestic oak and pine trees, sweeping verandas, balustrade terracing, fountains and picturesque lake vistas are all part of Garden Villa. The grounds are extensive and perfect for children who will especially enjoy the jungle gym that begs to be explored with the resident jack russel and great dane.

Cuddle up with a book in the serenity of the Manor House or relax in the Summer Room on deep, comfortable sofas, while the children enjoy the cool of the refreshing pool. For the more energetic, discover the unique experience of zip‐lining from aged oak trees across a wide expanse of water or fishing from the jetty. Enjoy a glass of wine on the floating deck as the sun sets and glows on the distant Helderberg Mountains, or retreat to the deck hidden in the trees and dine under the stars.

The Villa, with its relaxed atmosphere, is perfect for either groups of adult friends or families. In the Manor House there are three en-suite bedrooms in the Manor House. The main bedroom is a spacious suite with a King size bed and both a bath and shower in the en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is well-suited to children and has a double and single bed. The en-suite has a bath. The third bedroom has a double four poster bed and an en-suite with shower.
This upper level of the Manor House also has a central media entertainment area with fireplace to cuddle up as a family to relax. A music system allows for music internally and externally (bring your iPod of your favourite music).

The lower level of the Manor House boasts elegant reception areas leading out to the terrace. The drawing room and library offer peace and quiet, and the crystal chandeliered dining room elegant dining for 12 amongst art and antiques. The honeymoon suite in the garden has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. there is a private balcony overlooking the eco-pool.
You’ll find it difficult to keep everyone out of the well-equipped kitchen as it welcomes you to linger with a glass of wine while dinner is prepared. There is also a breakfast room for more casual dining and a bar area for wine tastings or pre-dinner apéritifs.

All of our rooms are beautifully furnished and includes underfloor heating, heated towel rails and the best
beds using 500 TC Egyptian cotton linen. Your night’s rest is assured under our feather duvets while your
head rests on our perfect pillows. All bathrooms are serviced with carefully chosen bathroom amenities to
stimulate your senses into complete relaxation and 100% cotton gowns and slippers.
