Melkbos Sea Cottage is situated in the coastal enclave of Melkbosstrand, 30 km north of Cape Town on South Africa's West Coast. This unpretentious fishing village is known for its stretch of white sandy beach, undulating dunes, seafood restaurants, nature hikes, and exceptional mountain views.
This delightful four-bedroom seaside cottage, originally built in the seventies and meticulously renovated by its current owners, offers direct beach access from the back garden.
Décor is classic mid-20th century cottage style, with a contemporary flair in touches such as artworks, light fixtures and warm greys offset by splashes of colour throughout. Open plan living spaces include two lounge areas, a dining room and colourful cottage-style kitchen with all the necessary appliances.
The main bedroom upstairs features spectacular beach and sea views, with a queen bed, dressing room and en-suite bathroom featuring a bath, shower and separate toilet.
On the ground level, the second and third bedrooms share a bath and shower, while the fourth bedroom with double bed is en-suite with a shower.
The spacious lounge area with fireplace opens onto the back garden with outdoor lounge and dining areas, heated pool and a spacious garden that leads directly to the beach.
