Villa 27 is located in the seaside town of Melkbosstrand, a coastal enclave located on the West Coast of South Africa, 30 km north of Cape Town. This unpretentious coastal village is known for its stretch of white sandy beach, seafood restaurants, nature hikes, undulating dunes, and exceptional mountain views.
Positioned directly on the beach with breath-taking views of the ocean, Table Mountain and Robben Island, this seaside villa offers the discerning traveller all the luxuries, warm hospitality and personal service in private surroundings.
The double volume, open plan villa features a modern design with original art and contemporary décor in bright splashes of colour. The voluminous entrance opens onto bright and airy living spaces, all boasting sea views beyond the indigenous fynbos-covered dunes spilling from below the deck. Loads of natural light and lavish furnishings complement the shades of grey, blue, green and mustard from the ocean and fynbos views beyond.
Flowing from the entrance is a spacious and inviting lounge with furnishings in soft velvets, adjacent to the dining area and open plan kitchen with scullery that was designed for seamless entertainment. Large glass sliding doors open to a spacious wooden deck with outdoor dining area, azure blue pool, sun loungers and a fire pit for starlit nights under the African skies.
Upstairs is a second lounge with library and a private working space, allowing for some work time while the family is entertained. Five en-suite bedrooms boast ample space, sea views and lavish comforts, sure to lull you to sleep with the sounds of the rolling waves in the background.
The villa is child friendly and features a garage for secure parking, security system and servicing every alternate day.
For things to do in the area, Melkbosstrand boasts one of South Africa's premier golf courses - The Atlantic Beach Golf Course - which features 18 holes covering a distance of 6 229 metres, putting it on a par with courses in Scotland. Melkbosstrand Beach is a seven-kilometre stretch of white sand popular with surfers, and the ideal location for long walks, sunset viewing, swimming, kitesurfing, crayfishing, boating and windsurfing. Little Bay Beach is a smaller, sheltered beach that is perfect for families with young children.
